Look what flew in today to join us for Cavalcade of Planes! The WWII era DC-3. We're excited to see it on the ramp. We have been told that it will fly a couple of times each day. Stop by to take a look.

A small clarification regarding purchasing entrance tickets at the gate. You will be able to purchase entrance tickets outside before entering the gate using QR codes. We will have the QR codes posted outside. Our ticket agents will not be able to sell tickets for cash at the gates.

There will be a new visitor with us this year!!

The venerable Douglas DC-3.

The Douglas DC-3 revolutionized air travel and military transport, becoming one of the most successful and enduring aircraft in history. Manufactured from 1936 to 1942 with several modifications since then.

With the outbreak of World War II, the DC-3 was adapted for military use as the C-47 Skytrain (U.S.) and Dakota (U.K.). Over 10,000 military versions were produced, including troop carriers, cargo transports, and glider tugs.

This aircraft is truly a piece of history.

If you're planning on joining us at Cavalcade this year, we have several food and drink choices available. Here is a list of your options:

Cavalcade Canteen
Ice cold beer, margaritas, hot dogs, pulled pork, loaded nachos, pretzels, popcorn, cinnamon glazed nuts, chips, brownies, frusheez slush and cold drinks.

*** A note about our on-site food vendors (except for Charlie's) - most of them can accept CASH ONLY so please come prepared. ***
There will be an onsite ATM lcated in front of the Canteen.

And of course, Charlie's restaurant will be open serving their full menu.

*** To help prevent or reduce confusion at point of entry - here are a couple of words about our ticketing this year:
- All tickets must be purchased before arriving at the entrance booth. QR codes will be posted outside of the entrance tent to purchase your tickets via your phone. There are no cash ticket sales.

- To help manage the event, all tickets will be scanned at entry, including the free entrance tickets for children. Please make sure you acquire tickets for them as well.

- Scanned tickets will check for correct day of entry.
