Yesterday we talked about the logo...today, let's talk about what this walk is all about!

First off...this is MORE THAN A WALK! This is about COMMUNITY coming together to help those in our community often unseen, overlooked, or cast away. We were NEVER meant to do life alone, we were created for community!! Let's come together to serve Jesus!!

There are many aspects of this walk to promote community!

👉Walk as one - everyone will participate in the walk together. Community showing up for community!

👉Community celebration - we will celebrate what we have done together during our Impact Celebration after the event! We will also celebrate the top fundraising individuals, top fundraising teams with fun team building awards (to further promote community), and a traveling trophy for THE top team!

👉Serving Jesus together - during the walk, some of the friends on the street that we serve will be a part of the event serving our walkers by handing out waters and cheering yall on!! Let's talk about the logo for a second...

With any design I do, I completely let the Lord lead me. Putting the water as the WALK background seemed natural since it is a walk on the beach. The red seemed to be a good contrast as I was creating.

Once it was finished, we looked at it and thought...

Wow Jesus literally walked ON water and HIS BLOOD is what covers us.

This Walk with Jesus is more than an event. Its an expectation that as we walk the beautiful beach, we WILL be walking with Jesus...with the purpose to raise money and awareness so .farm.ministries can continue (and even expand) loving like Jesus...right in the streets, right where the needs are, right where the lost are and take the love and light of Jesus to them! After all, isn't that where Jesus went?

The Walk with Jesus is more than an individual journey, it’s a shared mission. By creating a team, you multiply your impact and help bring hope to individuals experiencing homelessness through Salty Farm Ministries.

Salty Farm Ministries is EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE a new community event!!

If you know anything about Salty Farm Ministries, you know that COMMUNITY is incredibly important to us. We were never created to do life alone, but rather in community with one another.

Join us on October 10th on the beach behind Sharky's Restaurant!

As we walk along the shoreline, we walk with purpose: to raise support and awareness for individuals experiencing homelessness in our community. Every step taken helps provide food, clothing, showers, resources, and life-changing care through Salty Farm Ministries.

Our heart is to bring people together to celebrate the impact we can make together to reach the ones in our community that are too often overlooked and cast out.
