One week from today!

On June 6, walk through the doors into pop music history when Al Jardine, founding member of The Beach Boys, and Brian Wilson’s 11-piece Pet Sounds Band bring the timeless sound of California’s most iconic band to the Historic Plaza Theatre.

A guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter, Jardine was instrumental in shaping the signature harmonies and style that made The Beach Boys global superstars. They blended sonic brilliance with sheer melodic fun and sweet infectious pop melodies, artistic depth with highly accessible joy. And the joy of their music is timeless. They sold over 100 million albums, had more top 40 hits than any American band in history, and influenced bands ranging from The Who, Pink Floyd and The Beatles to Weezer, R.E.M., and the Ramones.

This special concert celebrates the 60th anniversary of the masterpiece, Pet Sounds, widely considered one of the most acclaimed and greatest albums in music history.

The performance will blend live music with personal stories and rare insights from Jardine’s extraordinary career. FOOTLOOSE is the explosive musical adapted from the iconic feature film. It tells the story of Ren McCormack, a city teen who moves to a small town where dancing is banned by a strict preacher, leading him to challenge the rules, find romance, and help the community heal and rediscover joy through music and dance. The show includes hits like "Let's Hear It for the Boy" and "Holding Out for a Hero," alongside new songs for the stage, and it earned Tony nominations for its book and score.
