Tom, Christine, Billy, Gael, Mike and Billy‘s dad moved the Haybale‘s today in preparation of the festival. We did some grounds clean up and preparation before being rained on. We are looking forward to awesome weather next Saturday and Sunday so come out to native nations festival at 9620 dry Run Rd., Painted Post at the Y at Watson Woods. It is free and open to the public.

The Native Nations Festival will be held at the Y at Watson Woods on a September 16 and 17. The Thunderbird American Indian dancers with MC Louis Mofsie, the Nahui Ollin Aztec Dancers, The Old Bridge Singers, and story tellers Perry Ground and Lenora White will be joined by others to make this the best one yet! Hope to see you there.

The native nations festival is scheduled for September 16 and 17 at the Y at Watson Woods in Cooper’s playing New York. Gates open at nine with grand entry at 10. This year performance groups will be the the Thunderbird, American Indian dancers, Aztec dancers, the old bridge singers with Lenora white Story Teller , Al Cleveland local flute maker and player, spiritual, elder and grandmother Enolia Foti, and Grandmother, and pass chief of the Abenaqui clan of the hawk Donna Huether. There will be tons of great vendors, American food, and Native American inspired foods. The festival is free and open to the public, and we look forward to seeing you there, providing education, and even learning some things ourselves.
