This is THE baker that you need for y0ur wedding!

When a client shares a vision inspired by a place they love, bringing it to life becomes part of the story.

Inspired by the vibrant tapestries of Mexico, this design was created to reflect the beauty, color, and artistry that captured their heart. Paired with their favorite cake flavor, every detail became a sweet tribute to a place filled with special memories.

One of my favorite parts of cake design is finding ways to tell a story that is uniquely yours. ❤️

Planning a wedding comes with a lot of excitement.

It also comes with a lot of quiet stress that people don’t always talk about.

“What if something goes wrong?”
“What if the ceremony feels awkward or rushed?”
“What if I spend the whole day managing people instead of actually enjoying it?”

These are real worries. And they’re more common than most couples realize.

That’s why I believe your wedding day should feel supported, not chaotic.

Whether I’m standing up front officiating your ceremony or working behind the scenes helping the day flow smoothly, my goal is always the same:

To help you feel present.
Calm.
Taken care of.
And able to fully experience the day you worked so hard to create.

I’ve been incredibly lucky to receive some amazing reviews from couples who trusted me with those moments, and I never take that trust lightly.

If you’re planning your wedding and feeling overwhelmed, unsure where to start, or just wanting someone to talk things through with I would be happy to chat.

A lot of couples start in the same place: “I don’t know if we really need a coordinator.” And honestly—I get it.

You’ve planned everything. You’ve got the timeline. You feel prepared. But this is the part most people don’t realize until the day arrives: It’s not about having a plan. It’s about having someone who can carry it.

Someone who sees what’s coming before it happens. Someone who keeps everything moving without you ever feeling it. Someone who lets you actually be present instead of managing moments.

This is what one of my couples shared after their day:

“If you’re on the fence about whether you need a coordinator… you do. Mitch thrives in the chaos of a wedding day and takes the weight off your shoulders so you can actually be present and enjoy it.

Even with everything planned, there’s no way I would have been able to relax without him. He anticipated problems before they happened, kept everyone on track, and made sure everything ran seamlessly. It felt like every potential fire was handled before it could even spark.”

And here’s the part that meant a lot to me. Even their officiant, who had seen countless weddings, noticed the difference. That’s always the goal. I love officiating for a ceremony where I have the chance to work with a skilled coordinator.

Whether I’m coordinating behind the scenes or standing up front leading the ceremony, the goal is the same. Make it feel natural. Make it feel seamless. Make it feel like you get to be fully there for it.

If you’re on the fence about having someone in that role, I’d love to talk it through with you.

One of the biggest shifts I see in couples happens right after they book their venue. Up until that point, everything feels exciting and straightforward.

Then reality sets in a little:

“What do we actually do for the ceremony?”

And here’s what most people don’t realize … The ceremony isn’t just something you plan. It’s something you feel.

If it’s rushed, people feel it. If it’s generic, people check out. If it doesn’t reflect you, it never quite lands.

But when it’s done right?

People lean in. They laugh. They stay present. And the entire day starts on a completely different note.

That’s why I always tell couples — don’t leave this part as an afterthought.
It sets the tone for everything that follows.

If you’re in that stage right now, starting to think through what your ceremony will look like, I’d love to hear your story and help you shape it the right way. Your way.

Hey friends—quick ask from me today.

If you’ve worked with me, been part of a ceremony I’ve officiated, or even just seen me in action at a wedding…

Would you take a minute to leave a review on my Hitched By Mitch page?

Those reviews genuinely mean a lot. Not just to me, but to couples who are trying to figure out who they can trust with one of the most important moments of their day.

If I’ve had the chance to be part of your wedding (or your workday), I’d be honored if you shared your experience.

I see these come up all the time during wedding ceremonies.

Not big mistakes … just small things that change how the entire day feels.

If you’re planning your wedding, this is worth thinking about.

And if you’re a vendor, you’ve probably seen this play out more than once.

If you want a ceremony that actually lands, I’d love to hear your story.
