Ozark Community Fireworks Celebration

08/01/2026

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, sponsored, or supported the Ozark Community Fireworks Celebration.

Yesterday’s weather forced us to make some incredibly difficult decisions. Throughout the evening, we worked closely with law enforcement, EMS, Fire & Rescue, school officials, and our fireworks professionals to monitor the weather. Safety was always our top priority.

After repeated lightning delays, we made the decision to cancel the event. Later, when a brief safe weather window appeared and today’s forecast looked even worse, we made the difficult decision to move forward with the fireworks. We know many people had already left, and we sincerely apologize to those who missed the updated plans. We shared information as quickly as possible while coordinating with emergency personnel and our event team.

We're incredibly grateful to our sponsors, volunteers, first responders, vendors, and everyone who helped make this event possible. Most of all, thank you to our community for your patience, understanding, and support.

Our goal has always been to bring Ozark together, and we fully intend to bring the Ozark Community Fireworks Celebration back next summer. Thank you for believing in this event, and we'll see you next year.
