🇺🇸 If you would like to keep your yard sign from the America250-Orwigsburg celebration as a keepsake, the signs may be picked up at the Borough Office between now and August 21st. The office is open between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. 🇺🇸

All America250 donors’ yard signs have been removed from the square. The signs are at the Orwigsburg borough office and will be kept there for about 30 days. Please stop at the office on South Liberty Street to pick up your sign. 🇺🇸

Happy 4th of July!! We kick off today’s celebration with a mobile parade beginning at 9 AM from Blue Mountain High School to the Memorial and is expected to last about an hour! We’ll see you there!

Help us celebrate America's 250th birthday by participating in the America250-Orwigsburg Mobile Parade on 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟰𝘁𝗵!
Decorate your car, truck, motorcycle, or other vehicle in your best patriotic red, white, and blue and join the fun as we bring the celebration throughout our community!

📍 Participants should arrive at 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 between 𝟴:𝟯𝟬 - 𝟴:𝟰𝟱 𝗔𝗠 for lineup.

The parade will begin promptly and ...
🚒 Travel east on W. Market St. to the Square
🚗 Make loop around the Square and head west on W. Market St.
🏍 Make left onto S. Franklin St.
🚜 Turn left onto W. Independence St.
🚒 Turn right onto S. Liberty St.
🚗 Turn right onto Ridge Rd.
🏍 Turn right onto Marshall Dr.
🚜 Turn left onto Halsey Dr.

Join us as we "𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘁, 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲!" We've got something for 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙚! A "Celebration of Patriotism, Faith, and Community Spirit," a Mobile Parade, Time Capsule Display, Community Picnic, 3 outstanding musical programs, a display of an original land deed from Orwigsburg, ringing bells (or pots and pans!), a "Spirit Program," and if that's still not enough you'll definitely want to attend the fireworks show!

𝙋𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙚: the location of the "𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗺, 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁", originally scheduled at St. John's United Church of Christ on 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟯𝗿𝗱, has been changed to the 𝗢𝗿𝘄𝗶𝗴𝘀𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗴 𝗩𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 beginning at 𝟲:𝟬𝟬 𝗣𝗠.

𝙍𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧: There is 𝗻𝗼 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁. 𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱-𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗽 𝘀𝗵𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝘀 to the Memorial and Albright's Woods for our events. The Memorial has handicap accessibility and those unable to ride the bus may be dropped off at the paved path leading into Albright's Woods.
