Congratulations to Det. Scott Ahlskog with Tucson Police Department for being selected to win the July Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & W**e Bar gift certificate! Thank you to Flemings for helping us honor our heroes and to Bustos Media for making it happen.

Nominated by his wife, Detective Ahlskog is an 18-year veteran with TPD. He has worked in many units which required shift work, long hours, and overtime. Despite the rigors of his career, he "has always been present and active with our children and community...and has always found the time to give back. We love our hero and would love to see him honored." Thank you Mrs. Ahlskog for your nomination, and thank YOU Detective for your service!

At last year's Rockin' 4 Heroes concert we had some awesome volunteers from T-Mobile whose enthusiasm made the day for us, and for our guests!

This year, we are thrilled to welcome T-Mobile as our Entertainment Sponsor. THANK YOU for helping us stage our best concert event yet as we welcome back Lexington Lab Band with their "LLB West" experience with more vocalists 🎤, musicians 🎸 and a horn section 🎷🎺. They're sure to transport us all back in time with their spot-on classic rock covers.

On this day before the 25th anniversary of 9/11, we remember the First Responders who went to work that morning, simply doing the job they chose to do. They could never possibly know what that horrific day would bring.

As they committed to do every day they went to work, firefighters, police officers, EMT's and other first responders ran toward danger while others ran away from it. Because that is what they signed on for: to be there when someone needs you, no matter what the call may bring.

343 firefighters, 37 Port Authority officers, 23 NYPD officers and countless others made the ultimate sacrifice that day saving others. And many first responders survived 9/11 but their lives were forever changed by the physical, medical and emotional impact of that day.

We honor their courage, their sacrifice and their heart for service. We will never forget.

Four of us from Rockin' 4 Heroes attended Lexington Lab Band’s annual concert at Servant Heart Farm. They played for 3 hours and 15 minutes and covered multiple artists from Johnny Cash to Crosby Stills & Nash, to Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Tool, Dave Matthews Band and more than I could ever list here.

We’re talking pure talent and an amazing comraderie and appreciation for all who participated, 59 musicians strong both past and present members of the band.

While we won’t have all 59 musicians at our 6th annual event, they’ll be 17 strong on stage and guaranteed to please. You don’t want to miss Southern Arizona’s largest FREE outdoor rock concert Sunday 11/8, gates open 3:30pm
