Thank you guys so much for the love and support. I'm glad to see new page likes every now and then. Makes me smile and have hope for the hip-hop game. Record Monster and myself are taking time to reconstruct and build another RawCore Hip-hop. Again thanks to everyone, and stay tuned.

He had a huge influence on Hiphop with the early use of drum machines. The techniques he used to develop the sounds are the subject of producers conversations. Roger Linn himself was influenced by feedback from Prince. And he was a big part of introducing people to the new rhythms and sounds that they embraced as futuristic but danceable. Kind of hard to decipher everything he did in the studio but it's fun to read about and to see people's educated guesses and learn more about classic drum machines. There's so much more info on the net available that i've read over the years. But this is a good start. Enjoy!
