Being a Travel Advisor does NOT mean I've been everywhere.

Not even close. 😂

In fact, one of the hazards of this job is that the more destinations I learn about, the longer my own travel wish list gets.

I can be perfectly content with my travel plans and then start researching somewhere for someone else and suddenly think...

“Well. Now I need to go THERE too.” 😂

There are still so many places in the world I want to experience for myself, and honestly, I hope that never changes.

There are some places you've seen in pictures so many times that you wonder if they can possibly look that beautiful in real life.

A little behind the scenes of being a Travel Advisor today... 💻🌴

I'm just about to attend a Sandals and Beaches Resorts webinar learning about what's new, what's changing and what I need to know to better help my clients.

One thing I don't think I realized when I became a Travel Advisor was just how much learning happens behind the scenes!

Resorts change. Destinations change. Policies change. New options become available. And there's always something new to learn.

So while I may be sitting at my computer in Illinois today, we'll be talking about some pretty beautiful places. 😂🌴

It's all part of staying up to date so I can better guide my clients when it's time to plan their vacations.

🏰 I’ve been to Walt Disney World more times than I can count…and I’m still not tired of it. 😂❤️

There’s always something new to see, something I haven’t done in a while, a favorite restaurant I want to go back to, or another Disney memory waiting to be made.

And now getting to experience Disney with the grandkids has made it fun in a completely different way. 🥰

So when someone asks me, “Is Disney really worth it?” my answer is pretty easy. For our family, the memories have absolutely been worth it.

A mistake to avoid when choosing a cruise?

Looking at the ship and forgetting to really look at the itinerary.

The ship absolutely matters, but so do things like how much time you'll have in port, how many sea days there are, where the cruise begins and ends, and whether the itinerary actually visits the places you most want to see.

This becomes especially important in places like Europe, where your cruise can be a very different vacation depending on the itinerary you choose.

My advice? Start with what you want to experience and then find the cruise that fits.

A beautiful ship is even better when it's taking you exactly where you want to go. ❤️

And I completely understand. A Walt Disney World vacation is a big trip for most families, and sometimes you just need a reason to finally start looking at the numbers.

Well…this might be one of those reasons. 😊

Disney’s new 2027 promotion can save families up to $250 PER NIGHT on select 4-night, 4-day (or longer) Disney Resort room-and-ticket packages for qualifying stays January 3 through July 28, 2027.

Does that mean every family will save $250 per night? No...your savings depend on your resort and travel dates.

But it DOES mean that if Disney has been sitting on your “someday” list, it’s worth finding out what 2027 could look like.
