We will be at the Tennessee Peach Festival June 6-7 from 10:00am - 4:00pm at the Cookeville Fairgrounds. Serving up our delicious snack menu with added rotisserie pulled chicken and shaved ribeye sandwiches. We added Peach Habanero pretzel dipping sauce and Peaches and Cream Trifle. Come out and enjoy your Saturday/Sunday this weekend at the Festival.

Another great weekend ahead for MiMi’s Kitchen. Friday June 5 we are headed to Two Rivers Mansion for Movies @ the Mansion showing David. Then June 6-7, Saturday and Sunday with the height of Peach season in Tennessee, in Cookeville, Tennessee Peach Festival. If you are any where close to these 2 great events, come out and enjoy some yummy food and shopping.

It’s HERE - Tomorrow Saturday, May 30 from 10am - 5pm downtown Chattanooga @ The Green, use 100 Chestnut street to get you in the area!!! MiMi’s kitchen will be there in our Scooby’s Snack Machine serving up, fresh soft pretzel sticks, fresh cinnamon churros, fresh popped popcorn, nacho chips with cheese, all beef hotdogs, and 2 new delicious sandwiches, Shaved Ribeye and Rotisserie Pulled Chicken. Come out and relax, shop and enjoy some good eats!!!

Mark your Calendar’s. The 1 of 4 Movie series starts June 5 @ Two Rivers Mansion 3130 McGavock Pk, Nashville, TN 37214. Food trucks will be there starting to serve at 5:00 movie starts around dusk. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and appetite for some great snacks and dinner options.

Need a reason to find fun time this weekend. We’ll head to Smithville TN for the Middle Tennessee Cornbread Festival on Saturday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm CDT. Then if you are still needing a funday Sunday, head over to Gallatin, TN for the May Days and Market Ways from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm CDT.

Last day of the Tennessee Strawberry Festival in Dayton TN. Another beautiful day. We put out a challenge if anyone could drink the jar of Jalepeno Juice would give them $20. We only had one request to try it and he was the winner. See video attached.

IT’S STARTED!!! This years Tennessee Strawberry Festival!!! MiMi’s Kitchen will be there Friday and Saturday serving up our mouth watering snacks, hotdogs and 2 new sandwiches, shaved ribeye and pulled chicken.

The Tennessee Strawberry Festival is officially underway with plenty of fun events leading up to the main festival day this Saturday, May 9th in Dayton, TN! The 79th annual festival runs May 4–9, 2026, continuing a Dayton tradition that began in 1947 as a one-day event sponsored by the Dayton City Lion’s Club. What started as a celebration of Rhea County’s strawberry crop has grown into a full week of food, music, rides, parades, contests, and family fun.

The carnival opens today (Tuesday) at Washington Park. Wednesday brings Faith & Family Night and Strawberry Shortcake Night at Centennial Park from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday includes the baking contest at the Rhea County Welcome Center, more carnival fun, and the Dayton Arts League Art Show inside the historic courthouse. Friday adds Golden Berries, craft and food vendors, the art show, a Market Street cruise-in, and evening music from Black Jack Saddle and Legacy.

Saturday is the main festival day and starts with the Rotary Pancake Breakfast, Strawberry Chase, gospel music, vendors, art show, and entertainment. The Strawberry Parade rolls down Market Street at 1 p.m., the carnival opens at 2, and The Kentucky Headhunters headline at 8 p.m. rounding out a fun-filled week at one of Tennessee's best spring events here in Dayton! Plenty of time left to plan to attend!
