As part of our community support programming, we will be collecting the following items at the Expo - CRS Foundation booth:
1. New or gently loved running shoes (for The Kickback)
Kickback’s Sneaker Collection Program:
Sneaker culture is a universal language for youth. A new pair of shoes has the power to start a conversation that wouldn’t otherwise take place. Gifting the right pair of sneakers to the right person at the right time in their lives can help break the cycle and prevent kids from taking the wrong path in life. Through sneakers, we empower youth to think outside of their lived experience — one sole at a time.
2. New or gently loved Winter gear, but any clothing donation will be appreciated (for Diabetes Canada)
For over 30 years, Diabetes Canada has been collecting clothing and small household donations to fund important research in the fight to end diabetes and send kids to D-Camp.
Every time you donate your small household items and gently used clothing to Diabetes Canada, you help over 11.9 million Canadians with diabetes or prediabetes, and the environment by diverting from landfill.
3. Non-perishable Food donations (for Daily Bread Food Bank)
Daily Bread Food Bank is on a mission to eliminate food insecurity, and advocate for solutions to end poverty. Together, with your support we can work to feed our communities and end hunger in our city.
