Last year, something truly special happened in Omak. With the help of our community, we hosted the first Glizzies & Grinds Skate Jam—a day built by skaters, for skaters. We raised money, put complete skateboards into people’s hands, and watched as individuals who had never owned a board before rolled away with something that was truly theirs. This year, we’re coming back even stronger. Our goal is simple: get more skateboards into more hands, no matter your age or experience level. We want to put at least 10 skateboards into the community. Skateboarding isn’t just for kids; it’s for anyone looking for an outlet, community, or just a chance to roll. But not everyone has access to a board, and that’s the barrier we’re trying to break. Every dollar raised will go directly toward purchasing complete skateboards for this year’s event. We’re just locals who care about building something real in Omak. This event is about more than tricks and prizes—it’s about creating a space where anyone can show up, feel welcome, and be part of something. Whether you donate, share, or come out to the event, you’re helping grow something bigger than all of us. Let’s keep it rolling. Please like, comment, and share this post so more people can see and donate to the cause.
