The Mid-Del Board of Education has appointed Mrs.Tamara Moore as a Head Elementary Principal.

The Mid-Del Board of Education is proud to announce the appointment of Mrs. Tamara Moore as a Head Elementary Principal.

Tamara Moore, an Oklahoma City native, has dedicated over 13 years to serving the Mid-Del community as a passionate and committed educator. She began her career at Traub Elementary, where she taught for one year before transitioning to Midwest City Elementary. There, she spent a decade teaching fourth and fifth grade, positively impacting countless students while fostering a love of learning and academic growth. During her time at Midwest City Elementary, she also served as an instructional coach, supporting teachers and enhancing instructional practices across the school. Currently, Tamara serves as the Assistant Principal at Midwest City Elementary, where she continues to lead with a focus on student success, teacher development, and strong family partnerships. Beyond her professional role, Tamara is actively involved in ministry alongside her husband, Ronald, with whom she has shared 32 years of marriage. Together, they are proud parents of three adult children—two of whom are educators in the Mid-Del district, while the third is pursuing a basketball career overseas. Tamara remains deeply committed to serving elementary students, educators, and families in Mid-Del, and she looks forward to continuing to make a meaningful impact in her community.

For the upcoming school year, Mrs. Moore has been selected to join our leadership team, with a specific school assignment to be announced at a later date.
