Join us tomorrow at the Moore-Lindsay Historical House, 1-4 pm, for the museum’s 2nd Annual Tartan Day Celebration in Norman.
This free, family-friendly event is a wonderful way to celebrate Scottish heritage and enjoy an afternoon of music, dance, and hands-on activities. The entertainment begins with the Flowers of Edinburgh at 1 pm, followed by piping from Coleman Patterson at 2 pm, and Okie Skye Highland Dance at 3 pm.
Guests can also enjoy games and activities for children, along with a tartan weaving demonstration.
For adults looking for a little extra flavor, local tasting guide Wendy Newport will lead two whiskey tastings. To learn more and purchase tickets for the tastings: https://www.normanmuseum.org/tartanday.html
