🍁 November Member Meeting — Friendsgiving at Claudia Sanders! 🍁

KYALA members and Business Partners gathered today for a special Friendsgiving-themed November meeting at the historic Claudia Sanders Dinner House. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch together, shared laughs, and connected with colleagues from across the legal community.

Our program, “Building a Culture of Appreciation in Law Firms,” sparked great discussion on gratitude, teamwork, and fostering environments where people feel valued every day.

A huge thank-you to everyone who joined us and contributed to the conversation. We are grateful for each of you and the impact you make in your firms and in our chapter. 🧡

KYALA had such a great time hosting our members and business partners at the Thoroughbred Club, followed by an exciting afternoon at Keeneland. 🐎🍂 From delicious appetizers to the thrill of the races, it was the perfect way to enjoy time together, strengthen connections, and celebrate our community.

🌟 Afternoon Highlights at the 2025 Tri-State ALA Retreat! 🌟

After a power-packed session on AI, Legal Malpractice & Cyber Insurance with USI Affinity and an insightful deep dive into Office 365 with Jim Gast, our minds are officially full… but so are our stomachs after a fantastic dinner at Yard House! 🍴✨ Nothing like great food and conversation to fuel even more connection.

The night wrapped up with Escape Room fun! 🗝️🔒 All groups broke out (some faster than others 😉) and it was the perfect way to test teamwork, problem-solving, and maybe even a little friendly competition.

What an amazing balance of learning, networking, and laughter. 💙

🌟 KYALA is having a wonderful time at the 2025 Tri-State Retreat hosted by the Cincinnati ALA Chapter! 🌟

We kicked off the day at the AC Hotel Marriott in downtown Cincinnati with a warm welcome and a fun ice breaker. The morning sessions have been both timely and impactful, covering:

💡 AI at Work – How attorneys are using Lexis+ AI and what that means for our firms.
🖥️ AI Acceptable Use & Training – Practical guidance from Professional IT Services on cotrol of AI tools by IT, adoption and training.
⚖️ HR & Compliance – Effectively navigating the “Bermuda Triangle” of FMLA, ADA, and Workers’ Comp, along with effective discipline and discharge best practices.

It’s been an inspiring start filled with education, connection, and collaboration. Thank you to our Cincinnati ALA colleagues for hosting such a fantastic retreat! 💙
