Brenn Hill's ""Horses of War"" album release concert - This amazing all ages show will feature special guests Kaden Miner and The Proper Way. Brenn Hill is an award winning singer-songwriter specializing in country and cowboy music. He’s been the recipient of many awards, including the Western Music Association’s Crescendo Award, and was named the 2004 Academy of Western Artists Male Vocalist of the Year. This special one night only concert is to celebrate the release of his most recent album “Horses of War.” There will be a cash bar and delicious food provided by Steve’s Black Sabbath Barbecue Food Truck. Doors open at 5:30pm, music starts at 7:00pm.

Join us at the Copper Nickel for the next Copper and Oak Concert Friday, March 29th featuring Mel Soul, Paddy Teglia, and Christian Scheller.

Christian Scheller: A singer-songwriter hailing from the mountains of Northern Utah, Christian started playing guitar in September of 2013. In a remarkably brief span of twelve months, Christian was playing music professionally. Starting as a weekly 2 song gig at the local farmer’s markets Christian’s musical career developed into performances on the main stage at the YouTube Vidcon Convention, and multiple showcases at the SXSW festival in 2019. Christian’s musical stylings are a captivating fusion of soul, blues, and folk influences. Showcased in both his renditions of beloved classics such as Amy Winehouse’s “Valerie” and Blackstreet’s “No Diggity,” as well as his own original compositions, like “Home” and “Paint the Scene.” Regardless of the setting, Christian consistently cultivates a welcoming musical atmosphere, characterized by positivity, joy, and an inherent ease of listening.

Join us at the Copper Nickel for the next Copper and Oak Concert Friday, March 29th featuring Mel Soul, Paddy Teglia, and Christian Scheller.

Mel Soul: Mel was raised in Orem UT, and has been a singer/songwriter for 11 years. Her soulful voice and enthralling musical style is a mix of multiple genres including folk, indie, rock, pop, and blues. Among her achievements, she has opened for acts such as Dan Tyminski, Robby Krieger, The Supremes, and Jordan Matthew Young. She’s performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City, the Sundance Film Festival, and has worked with high profile songwriters including Natasha Beddingfield, Darrell Scott, Mary Gauthier, Lauren Christy, Steve Seskin, Judy Stakee, and Wendy Par. Mel's artistic objective as a singer, songwriter and performer is to always inspire her audience to love themselves and everyone else.

Paddy is a well-loved Ogden based singer/songwriter who originally comes from the Chicagoland area. He’s been a long time member, supporter, and contributor of the Ogden music community, and most recently has helped organize the Femme as Folk concert series that features women, transgender, and non-binary musicians and helps raise money for Rock Camp SLC. Over the span of two decades, Paddy has skillfully blended heartache and humor throughout his music and performances. His musical style draws from elements of rock, jam bands, folk, and blues. Paddy’s use of humor is an effective and engaging way he connects with his audience and his genuine charm and infectious stage presence leaves his listeners always wanting more. (Not to mention, he is also incredibly handsome.) ❤️
