OUR MISSION STATEMENT The mission statement of Iowa District West Lutheran Women’s Missionary League is to assist all women in discovering and using their God-given gifts through LWML in thanksgiving and service to our Lord.

Today, In the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod (LCMS), We observe Ascension Day. The Feast of the Ascension commemorates Jesus Christ body ascending into heaven 40 days after Easter. It marks the victorious completion of His earthly ministry and the beginning of His heavenly reign.
