As this storm settles in over the Boston area we want to take a moment to wish all the snow crews a safe stretch ahead. These storms come fast and hit hard, and clearing this much snow in such a short window is no small task.
For many people, life moves so quickly that it’s easy to forget what goes into keeping our roads, sidewalks, and neighborhoods moving. The long overnight hours, the cold, the constant back and forth to stay ahead of the storm - it’s demanding work, and often a thankless one. But it’s work we take pride in. We show up because we care about our community, and we want everyone to get where they need to go safely.
To every plow driver, equipment operator, and support crew member out there tonight and tomorrow: thank you. Your dedication doesn’t go unnoticed.
Stay safe, stay warm, and know that your efforts truly matter - especially on nights like this.
