Feeling a little more grateful today than most days.
This industry has tested my strength. It has pushed me to—and sometimes way past—my limits. It’s made me find myself and doubt myself all at the same time.
Brick by brick.
And sometimes, some of those bricks fall down.
But then there are the people.
The people who would help you pick up the brick that just fell.
The people who are in the trenches with you. The ones who know what this feels like. The ones who are also, brick by brick, trying to build themselves into something right in front of the industry’s eyes.
An industry that will criticize you, pick you apart, follow you, clap for you, support you, and sometimes hate on you—all at the same time.
Having those people by my side is what I’m most grateful for.
The people who continue to see my worth, my value, and the work I put in when I don’t—or sometimes refuse to—see it in myself.
The people who make this journey, this fight, this climb, a little more enjoyable… and 100% worth it.
I just had to show some appreciation.
You all know who you are, even if you weren’t tagged or we don’t have a single picture together.
Just know this isn’t only me saying thank you.
This is also a reminder:
Keep laying the brick.
Keep building.
Keep creating the world you wish existed.
Keep going, even when nobody is handing you permission to.
Because sometimes you’ll drop a brick.
Sometimes the wall will come down.
But if you’re lucky, you’ll have people beside you who don’t just tell you to keep going.
They’ll help you pick that brick back up.
