Ballhogs Elite AAU Basketball

Be Elite! The Miami Ballhogs are now the Ballhogs Elite! In our first year we made our mark as the best up and coming summer program in the state. By beating several established programs including Nike Team Florida by 34 points, we earned the attention of several scouting and recruiting services. This year we’re looking to continue our excellence by building a powerhouse 2011 team. Last year’s program was lead by the #2 leading scorer in 6A (25.1 ppg) Robert Gonzalez and the tri-county (Dade, Broward and Palm Beach) leading scorer and McDonalds All-American nominee Herbert Graham. Other notable players were 6’8 forward Thomas Pierre-Louis, 6’8 forward Kai Deans and 6’6 guard Darrel Davis. We have built a great rapport with several division 1 programs in the country Memphis, Marquette, Tulsa, Texas State, Fairfield, Western Illinois, Gardner Web, Liberty, Delaware State and every D1 program in Florida to name a few. We also have made our rounds with Junior College, NAIA, Division 2 and 3 programs. We work hard on our end to get our players to the next level. This year’s Open tryout will be different from last years. We’re expecting more competition as the county’s best available players and players looking to change AAU teams will be coming in to battle for our roster spots. As the camp moves forward to keep the level of competition high we will make cuts and only keep the best guys on the floor. There are 20 open spaces, but we’ll only suit 10 – 12 for tournaments. After making the team you will then have to outplay your teammates to get on the tournament roster.
