Southern AZ Sustainability Expo Companies today are faced with the financial pressure to lower operating costs and the social pressure to be more environmentally friendly.

The Southern Arizona Sustainability Expo will connect businesses and property managers with the products and services for implementing sustainability practices that are good for the planet and good for the bottom line. The Fresh Produce Association of the Americas is proud to present the first Southern Arizona Sustainability Expo on Thursday, May 18 at the Santa Cruz Center in Nogales, from 10:00

a.m.- 2:00 p.m. The Southern Arizona Sustainability Expo will connect businesses and property managers with the products and services for implementing sustainability practices that help solve both of these challenges. In addition to a vendor fair, the Expo will feature speaker panels on solar, energy efficiency, building automation, waste reduction and recycling, sustainable packaging, and transportation. Join us tomorrow, May 17, at the Santa Cruz Center from 10:00am-3:00pm for the second Sustainability Expo!

Companies today are faced with the financial pressure to lower operating costs and the social pressure to be more environmentally friendly. The Nogales Sustainability Expo will connect businesses and property managers with the products and services for implementing sustainability practices that help solve both of these challenges.

In addition to a vendor fair, the Expo will feature presentations on solar, energy efficiency, waste reduction, recycling, composting & CBP will have two officers that will talk about how the Unified Cargo Program promotes a green port of entry and more!

There will be tons of raffles! Free snacks and vendors from all of Arizona!

We have many speakers scheduled to speak at the Sustainability Expo next week.

Guadalupe Ramirez from U.S. Customs and Border Protection will be speaking on the Unified Cargo Processing Program and how it promotes a green port of entry!

What is the Unified Cargo Processing Program?
Unified Cargo Processing is a concept that was spearheaded out of Arizona. The concept has Mexican customs officers working side by side with CBP officers in the United States side to jointly inspect and process shipments of cargo destined for the United States, making the shipment process quicker.
