What a Niska-Day we had!

It takes a village to create a day like Niska-Day and this is (some of) the team behind it!

The 2026 Niska-Day was planned, organized, set up, and brought to life entirely by volunteers. What many people see as one amazing day is actually the result of months of work and thousands of volunteer hours from community members who care deeply about Niskayuna.

From coordinating the parade and festival to organizing vendors, sponsors, entertainment, logistics, setup, cleanup, and everything in between...this committee gives their time simply because they love this community.

To our incredible volunteers: thank you for the energy, dedication, and heart you pour into Niska-Day year after year. We are endlessly grateful for all you do to keep this tradition thriving!

When the sun goes down… the sky lights up! 🎆

But the night is just getting started. There is still plenty of time to head down to the fields to grab a bite to eat in the food court for dinner before our headliner, The Schmooze, takes the stage to rock the night away! 🍔🎸✨

Grab your blankets and lawn chairs for the ultimate grand finale: a spectacular fireworks show brought to you by the Town of Niskayuna that you won’t want to miss.

Share this post to remind your friends where the party is tonight! 😉 See you at the stage! 🎤🎇

That parade was incredible! 🥁 Now, who’s ready to keep the party going at the Niska-Day grounds? 👇🎉

Head over to the Craig School fields for an afternoon packed with:
🍔 Legendary Eats: From The Mac Factor to Lewis Sugar House.
🎪 Business & Community Tent: Meet local businesses and vendors.
🎡 Carnival Rides: Thrills for all ages. Wristbands are just $25 this year!
🎯 Games & Activities: Test your skills with Afrim’s Sports and more!

A huge thank you to our Presenting Sponsor, Community Bank, N.A., for making this entire day possible! The first 500 people to stop by the N-CAP tent will receive a Niska Day megaphone✨

Shoutout to the team at Prima Pizzeria for coming through big time on Friday night! 🍕✨

They kept our hungry volunteers fueled and smiling while we worked. There is truly nothing better than local businesses supporting local volunteers. Thank you for the delicious pizza and the amazing generosity!
