What a Niska-Day we had!

It takes a village to create a day like Niska-Day and this is (some of) the team behind it!

The 2026 Niska-Day was planned, organized, set up, and brought to life entirely by volunteers. What many people see as one amazing day is actually the result of months of work and thousands of volunteer hours from community members who care deeply about Niskayuna.

From coordinating the parade and festival to organizing vendors, sponsors, entertainment, logistics, setup, cleanup, and everything in between...this committee gives their time simply because they love this community.

To our incredible volunteers: thank you for the energy, dedication, and heart you pour into Niska-Day year after year. We are endlessly grateful for all you do to keep this tradition thriving!

But the night is just getting started. There is still plenty of time to head down to the fields to grab a bite to eat in the food court for dinner before our headliner, The Schmooze, takes the stage to rock the night away! 🍔🎸✨

Niska Day is officially here, and we’re bringing the energy to the streets of Niskayuna! Whether you’re cheering from the sidewalk or waiting for the fireworks, make sure you snag this year’s exclusive gear.

🎊 Look for the Silver and Red!
Keep your eyes peeled during the parade! The Niskayuna Youth Football & Cheer squads will be passing out Limited Edition Niska Day Pom Poms all along the route. Grab a pair from our local athletes and help them cheer on the rest of the parade.

Once the parade wraps up, head straight to the Niska Day grounds for more freebies. The first 500 visitors to the N-CAP Tent will receive a FREE Niska Day Megaphone.
