You are all invited to attend this year's Alachua County 4-H Banquet! We're excited to recognize our 4-H members and volunteers for all of their hard work and impressive accomplishments this year, and we want to celebrate with YOU!

Who: All youth, volunteers, families, stakeholders, and friends of Alachua County 4-H!

When: Friday, July 24, 2026 at 6:00pm

Where: Alachua County Ag Auditorium in Newberry

What: BBQ dinner, youth and volunteer recognition, plus our exciting silent auction!

Our silent auction will run for two weeks leading up to the banquet and will close during the event. Even if you’re unable to attend in person, you can still participate in the auction online. Banquet attendees who win items can take them home that evening!

Please RSVP as soon as possible so that we can provide an accurate food count!

We hope you'll join us as we reflect on a fantastic 4-H year and look ahead to what's next. Your support makes a difference, and this celebration wouldn't be complete without you!

According to the rules for Steers 2026-2027 Fair, All Market Steers will have to be bred, born and raised in the state of Florida. A Steer Affidavit signed by the seller/breeder will need to be completed and turned in at initial steer weigh-in..

The Alachua County Youth Fair & Livestock Show Board is conducting a short survey for our buyers on the Market Animal Sale. We are asking our buyers to take this survey to help us determine if we should move the date and/or time of the Sale.

Parents and Exhibitors,

At the May meeting of the Alachua County Youth Fair & Livestock Show, there will be a 30 minute period at the beginning of the board meeting that Parents & Exhibitors will have the chance to address the board with comments, suggestions or concerns.

The board will meet at 7:30 pm on 5/14/2026 at the Alachua County Extension office auditorium, 22712 Newberry Road, Newberry, Fl 32669.

Market Animal Exhibitors Reminder:

April 30th is the deadline for turning in copies of thank you letters to buyers and/or add-on contributors. If they are not turned in by the deadline, a $50.00 fine will be deducted from the exhibitor’s sale check.
