ONE Portland, Oregon will be meeting monthly and participating in events to advocate for those living in extreme poverty. We will provide information on this page regarding ONE activities in the Portland area. We would love to have you join us as well as bring your friends or colleagues. We welcome any and all volunteers who are passionate about addressing the issues of extreme poverty. We're asking for your voice!

We spent the day getting ready for our meetings tomorrow with Oregon's Members of Congress.

We’ll be meeting virtually tomorrow with Senator Jeff Merkley, Senator Ron Wyden, Congresswoman Bonamici and Congressman Blumenauer to discuss the need for additional investments in global health security. As long as this pandemic remains unchecked anywhere, COVID remains a serious threat everywhere. The best way for the US to lead the global pandemic response is to invest at least $20 billion to fight COVID-19 globally, including funding for proven health programs like the Global Fund and CEPI.
