It is with much sadness that I tell you Patricia passed away yesterday.
I do not have other contact information for CMA members (Linda Pfeifer, Joan Podlaski, among others...) so I appreciate if you would pass this on.
Here is some information you may want to know.
A while back, about a year and a half ago, Pat was hit by a car. (whether or not this was the cause of ensuing problems, it really is unknown). So, although at the time it was determined she suffered no serious injuries as a result, apparently some time afterwards, she began to experience difficulties. One led to another and so far as I could determine, initially there were no diagnoses leading to what followed. She began to experience problems with balance, and walking, then organ breakdown, then hospitalizations and rehab – which eventually led to her demise.
Her family has indicated there will be no funeral services. Her son John is flying to Florida and there will be a cremation. Gene is having a hard time but noted that his community of friends there are being very supportive and helpful.
