As part of Hispanic Heritage Month, we invited last week to speak to the Unidos NYC chapter at 30 Rock and share her powerful, data-driven narrative to inform and inspire us.

She spoke about the visibility of the Latino community and how the concept of unity has grown over time. In a country where Latinos represent $1.5 trillion in annual consumer purchasing power, it’s important that we proudly recognize our positive impact on America and show up as our authentic selves at work.

We were deeply honored to meet Josefina López on June 26th, the visionary behind Real Women Have Curves—the original play, the screenplay, and the Broadway show. 🌺

Josefina generously shared how being told she didn’t fit narrow beauty standards led her to write a story where a Mexican woman like her could be the hero. Instead of shrinking, she created space for representation. She reminded us that authenticity begins with self-love, and that when we lead with love and a true desire to uplift others, our stories become a force for transformation. ✨
