Charles Meyer has been all in on house music for over eighteen years. A true veteran of the scene, he cut his teeth as both a raver and DJ in Los Angeles and San Francisco before relocating to Brooklyn twelve years ago. He has been refining his music production skills since 2009, and his work has been championed by artists like CID, Gordo, Maya Jane Coles, and Walker & Royce.
Charles has performed in virtually every setting imaginable: underground warehouse parties, forest gatherings, rave cruises, nightclubs, and festivals of all kinds. Throughout it all, he has continuously released original music shaped by these experiences, yet unmistakably his own. His thoughtfully improvised, technically precise DJ sets resonate with even the most discerning listeners, while still hitting hard enough to keep entire crowds locked in from start to finish. His skills have shone in b2b sets with ZHU, Westend, Ky William, and Alan Nieves.
Beyond the booth, Charles has earned the opportunity to help shape the New York City dance music landscape: for the past decade, his well-honed ear has driven his contributions as a leading talent buyer working with Avant Gardner, Made Event, and now serving as the Director of Talent for Brooklyn favorite SILO.
