I've been invited to speak at the Philippine Embassy - Philippine Consulate General in New York for their series on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals The Global Goals.

Impacts of climate change in the Philippines are immense, including: annual losses in GDP, changes in rainfall patterns and distribution, droughts, threats to biodiversity and food security, sea level rise, public health risks, and endangerment of vulnerable groups such as women and indigenous people.

I'm grateful to be part of this important discussion and contribute to solutions to mitigate climate change damage to my birth country.

Sanctuaria Oasis is a regenerative art installation is a shelter from the heat, sun and sandstorms at Burning Man. Sanctuaria will help reduce Burning Man's 52,000 tonnes carbon footprint. Our BIPV solar tiles will generate energy to power Sanctuaria's light and sound systems. Surplus energy will power ebike charging stations.
