Ending the day on a high note and inspiring direction, Graham Sturt () from presented their work for Pride Amsterdam where they strived to do justice to this year's theme: Gender. By educating themselves with the help of ten members of the non-binary and transgender community, D8 presented two highly contrasting ideas with the winning approach presented under the concept of "My gender is fluid". Based on the final design and the audience's appreciation it's safe to safe the team did the theme justice.

Michael Johnson from had the room in stitches within seconds of taking to the pit to talk about Jodrell Bank, an intimidating project that they tackled like all the work that comes into the office — with intense scrutiny that looks effortless from the outside.

What does a decentralized brand look like? that was the challenge taken by Tim Williams and team from when briefed by Polkadot on their rebrand. Taking a unique approach that was more immersive and less formal they used Figma to share the work with the client — a 10-minute playtime session where they could see everything at a glance and move around the Figma environment — before walking them through the work in detail, ultimately leaving the final design direction to members of the platform through a public vote.

An energetic Thomas Widdershoven () from walked the audience through their first round presentation for M+. For this project they proposed to make the boundaries between content and visual identity more fluid and integral by focusing on the + part of the logo. Since it was a pitch they chose to show their approach through an abstracted video that did not show visual creative solutions just yet. Then he went deep into color and not just any color: Gray. Totally geeky and fascinating.

Returning from our break, Martin Mohr () and Jesper Bange () from presented their 190-plus-slides first round presentation for Cable Factory (Kaapelitehdas). Four stages guide their process: dive, direction, magic, and delivery. Using the research insights and identifying what needs to be strengthened, decreased, added, or removed takes them into the visual directions that need to be considered and shared with the client as more fully-developed concepts.

Vinay Mistry () from the studio's full immersion approach to projects, where they go to the client to join meetings, meet everyone, and fully embed themselves in who they are beyond the brief. Their work for OneFootball was privy to this approach pre-pandemic, sadly most of the applications shown in their first round have yet to be produced or had to be changed due to pandemic-related delays and shifts.

They put a lot of work into the concept development as they find it is more time efficient in the end. That is until the name that was originally approved needed to be changed!
