Finally we found her! Let’s help LOLA Editha go home sa Pinas po 🥰❤️💕🇵🇭

Dahil sa effort ng lahat tumulong para makita si Lola Editha the year long wait is over we found her. I visited her last Friday at Brooklyn hospital and immediately contacted the Consulate for assistance and spoke to them about Lola, they acted fast and met with me sa Brooklyn hospital. The social worker only gave us till this Friday before they will discharge her and will be sent back sa shelter po, the social workers advised was to buy her a ticket back to Pinas and must have a companion to travel with because Lola has dementia and cant travel alone. With much deliberation with my famiIy I decided to volunteer to accompany her instead kasi familiar na sya sakin at kilala nya na din po ako instead na iba po na makasama nya na hindi nya kilala pa might create confusion on her part.

The proceeds of the funds will be used to buy her companion a RT plane ticket, RT plane ticket from Cagayan-Manila- Cagayan for her son to meet her at the airport or accomodation in Manila, incase the hospital will not extend her stay sa hospital we will need a place for her to stay with 24/7 companion in a hotel until we fly back to Manila, her living and medical expenses to start sa Pinas and other expenses that will be incured during the course of this transition. 🇵🇭

For 20 years in New York she dedicated her life to support her family and it breaks many of our hearts to see how things like this can happen to our fellow Filipino who only came here to perhaps give a better life to her loved ones like most of us. 🥰

Please extend your help and support her journey home.. a place we all call home.. Pinas🥰

Credits to Babylonia Ubaldo and Peter Glen Reyes for your selfless heart in finding her, members who took part in sharing the story and Congen Senen Mangalile for the prompt response, assistance and continued support. Torres Jr. T. Nelson and Jen Steffie who never gave up on looking for their Mom Lola Editha.

Let’s help! this is what we do best as members of Pinoys of New York
