Another successful NSB Jazz Festival is in the books! A big thank you to our sponsors, venue sponsors, host hotels, musicians, and especially our amazing fans for making this year’s festival such a success.

On Saturday at the newly remodeled Coronado Civic Center, 3:30pm to 5pm catch the James Hall Quartet in concert. James Hall on piano, bassist Jerobi Watts, Jamesly JeanMary on drums and featuring Shaina LaRoche on vocals. All of the musicians are in their 20's and are future jazz stars.

Location: 150 S. Pine Street just west of the shuffleboard courts on Flagler Avenue. The show is presented by Jazzland Promotions and the City of New Smyrna Beach. FREE www.nsbjazzfest.com

🇺🇸 This , the City of New Smyrna Beach invites you to a morning of honor, remembrance, and community as we pay tribute to the men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation.

The ceremony will begin at 10:30 a.m. with a stirring performance by the Sanford Jazz Ensemble, setting the tone for this powerful hour of reflection.

Retired U.S. Navy Captain & Mayor Fred Cleveland will welcome guests before the Presentation of Colors by the Daytona Division of the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps. Vocalist Dianne Weaver will lead the National Anthem, followed by the Invocation, Pledge of Allegiance, and heartfelt remarks from honored speakers. There will also be a flyover by the Spruce Creek Gaggle.

Throughout the ceremony, enjoy additional musical selections from the Sanford Jazz Ensemble along with performances by the Harmony Sound Waves a ca****la barbershop chorus.

Witness the solemn Laying of Wreaths, sounding of Taps, and 21-Gun Honor Salute — moments that remind us of the true meaning of Memorial Day.

Of note, non-emergency city offices will close in observance.
