We’ve watched enough wedding days fly by to understand why some couples want more than one day.

Because the wedding itself?

It goes ridiculously fast.

One minute you’re getting ready.
Then someone tells you guests are arriving.
Then you’re walking down the aisle.
Then somehow you’re eating dinner, dancing, and your DJ is announcing the last song. 😅

That’s why we love when couples choose to give themselves a little more room around the actual wedding day.

Friday gives you time to settle in, decorate, rehearse, and see the people who came into town for you.

Saturday gets to be the wedding day.

And Sunday gives you a little breathing room before you gather everything up and head home.

Because the Full Weekend Experience really isn’t about having the venue for more hours.

It’s about having more time with the people you brought together in the first place.

And your wedding goes fast enough already. 🤎

Another wedding weekend at the barn… and somehow the calendar still isn’t slowing down. 🤎

This weekend had us thinking about just how much life has happened here this year.

So many ceremonies.
So many families all in one place.
So many speeches, first dances, happy tears, late nights, full dance floors, and moments people will probably talk about for years.

And we’re still not done yet.

There are more weddings on the calendar, more people getting ready to celebrate, and more really big days still ahead.

It’s been a full year in the best way.

And we’re just really grateful that so many people have trusted this little barn to be part of days that mean so much. 🤎

We’ve watched enough parties to know the person who planned the whole thing is usually the one who gets to enjoy it the least. 😅

At-home grad parties can be so fun.

But they can also turn into a full day of:

moving tables
figuring out parking
watching the weather
restocking food
emptying garbage
answering questions
cleaning everything back up

And suddenly the day you spent months planning for your kid is over… and you barely sat down.

That’s one of the biggest reasons families are starting to look at venues for graduation parties.

Not because it needs to be fancy.

Because they want the space, the parking, the food, the bathrooms, and the setup handled somewhere that lets them actually enjoy the day too.
