So very grateful to be this week’s guest on New Orleans Out to Lunch! 📣
So surreal to be interviewed on a podcast that I’ve been listening to for 15 years 🙌. So cool to meet Peter Ricciuti in person!
So glad to have gotten to sit across the table from the sweet treat master and my new friend Brittney of 🍪 🍪. I loved hearing her story and commiserating with her about being a mom and an entrepreneur 😅. The cookies she brought were incredible!! And they made the ride home that much sweeter 😍

HUGE thanks to the women of Freret Napoleon for all of their hard work getting us in front of new audiences! I feel so lucky to have gotten to work with and . A dream come true!

It’s DAY ONE!!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for having me this year ♥️

Being a part of one of the biggest festivals in New Orleans as a solo artist has been a dream my entire life. Grateful for all of the support from my friends, (second photo), (third photo), (fourth photo), , my family and all of you who continue to lift me up every day ✨

To say I am truly honored is an understatement.

Let’s do this 🙌

All this prep for has me nostalgic 🥹

Before my son was born (he is now 12 😱), I painted this stage backdrop for the Kids’ Tent at Jazz Fest.

The character in the middle happened to resemble him as if I had “dreamed him into existence” 🥲

Sneak peek at some work in progress art 👀

One of the reasons I enjoy painting cats is because of my time at 🤪

Every morning in the warehouse on Bienville, there was a sweet black and white cat that would greet us in the morning hang out there while we worked.

This particular cat painting (that will be available at Jazz Fest) is inspired by her!

Such an honor to be a part of life’s sweet moments, especially working alongside (and a helping hand from ) for the most NOLA wedding ever 💕

These 14-ft banners were made to tell the story of Tiffany Langlinais and her lovely husband, Mike.

They showcase special things about their lives separately and together…

The iris flowers represent the origin of the fleur de lis design, the ‘logo’ of New Orleans (where they met).

I chose purple because that is Tiffany and Mike’s family’s favorite color 💜

The magnolia is the Mississippi state flower, where Tiffany is from.

Mike’s nephew is obsessed with alligators and that is what he buys him when he visits Chicago.

The shrimp represents Tiffany’s family because they are shrimpers.

So many memories on one stunning keepsake.

Congrats to the beautiful couple 🥂

A door is a portal to another place ✨

The thing I love most about painting on a door is that it is so unique.

Rather than a canvas or a wall, you can open and close a door, showing the design in a different light with each small movement 🌀
