West Bank Hispanic Heritage Festival The Festival is held in October at the University of Holy Cross in New Orleans to celebrate Hispanic heritage in our community.

We salute our Latino service members 🇺🇸 on this Veterans Day! Latinos have served honorably in every U.S. conflict and continue to represent one of the fastest-growing veteran populations, expected to reach about 16 percent of the total veteran population in the coming years. 🤩Happy post-festival glow, y'all. 🤩

We are immensely grateful to everyone who came out and supported our festival this weekend, in celebration of Hispanic culture and community. We are the only Hispanic heritage festival on the West Bank of New Orleans, and we love seeing our community grow and represent!

Huge thanks 🙏to our sponsors, our vendors, our organizers and entertainers -- the bands Rumba Buena and Muevelo, the Ballet Folklórico South Texas College, Damian Ch, and Bayou Batey Bomba y Plena and everyone else who showed off their dancing skills and joined the party!

But most of all, thank you University of Holy Cross for hosting our event, providing a host of volunteers and support which make our festival a true community-inspired event. Many blessings!

Estamos inmensamente agradecidos con todos los que asistieron y apoyaron nuestro festival este fin de semana, en celebración de la cultura y la comunidad hispana. Somos el único festival de herencia hispana en el West Bank de Nueva Orleans, ¡y nos encanta ver cómo nuestra comunidad crece y se representa con orgullo!

Gracias a nuestra communidad!!

We have to thank so many people, but first, Stephanie Davi McNeely, and the President of the University of Holy Cross Dr. Stanton McNeely for their leadership, support and vision in making the 2nd annual West Bank Hispanic Heritage Festival a huge success!! We are filled with gratitude for the hard-working volunteer board that made all the things possible, from entertainment to food to publicity to sponsorships -- we are grateful for your hard work and support. Thank you to our vendors who fed us like kings and brought their artisanal work from around the globe for us to see and experience. Thank you to our sponsors, who make this free event possible every year, and to our long list of volunteers from the University of Holy Cross and the community!
