Polish-American and Polish-Canadian professionals, investors, business start-ups and established businesses are invited to participate in the Polonia Business Forum (PBF). PBF has chapters in Detroit, New York City, Chicago, and San Francisco.
• Networking: A social, business networking forum, bringing together Polish-American and Polish- Canadian professionals and businesses. Social mixers are
held at local venues, pubs and restaurants. PBF also maintains an internet database of contacts, funding sources and other resources accessible to members to keep in contact with each other.
• Professional Development: PBF promotes the business and professional development of its members by providing a forum for peer-to-peer collaboration and mutual support.
• Virtual Business Accelerator: PBF provides a virtual business accelerator program for Polish-American entrepreneurs and businesses. A business accelerator is a program that provides entrepreneurs and start-up businesses with mentoring, advice, resources, access to funding sources and “business boot-camp” education from business leaders, funding sources and professional advisors. PBF’s virtual business accelerator is open to all types of start-ups, not just high-tech or computer companies. It provides participating start-ups with practical business advice from business mentors, professional advisors and funding, and offers an “Entrepreneur’s Boot Camp”.
• Angel Investors: PBF helps introduce investors and funding sources to potential opportunities to invest in PBF member companies and start-ups seeking capital.
• Promoting Business Connections with Poland: PBF also helps connect its business professionals with companies doing business with the business community in Poland, and helps to foster trade and investment with Poland through career opportunities, trade missions and presentations.
