The Dead Flies are a rollicking mix of diesel fueled rock n' roll, in a weird place where MC5 meets Fistful of Dollars, Boris Karloff, Hasil Adkins, and the Mummies in a roomful of chickens dancing. Working with a monster thud of Wil Willoughby's drums, the razorblade gargle of Ron King's vocals, and the crackly crunch of Russ Havard's guitar, this fun trio kicks out the jams from early 50's rock n' roll, to snarly garage rock, to spaghetti western surf punk with the raw power of Texas thunder.
