Ghost is a beautiful 7-9 month old male, very happy, loves to be with you, loves to go on walks, loves everyone, is dog friendly, and ignores cats. He's really working hard on his training and is smart and such a good boy. He rides great in a car. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.

Thanks to all of the food trucks, the w**e tents, the bands, the vendors, and those who brought us entertainment and activities. Thanks to Oakwood and Fithian Police Departments. Thanks to everyone who came to the Muncie Acorn Festival. The weather was gorgeous and there was definitely a feeling of community togetherness! There was one point we were worried about being able to have the festival when the rains came down and flooded the park area in August. But Mother Nature came through, dried everything up and gave us two beautiful sunny days!

Thanks to all of our sponsors and a big thanks to our volunteers. The festival would not be possible without both of these groups of wonderful people!

CONTEST TIME - Tell us what was your favorite thing about the festival this year. Was it a certain band or the live music overall, the vendor market, the 4-H Farm, the bounce houses, the sensory bins, obstacle courses face painting, car show? We want to hear what you enjoyed! Comment on this post with your favorite thing and we'll enter you in a drawing for a gift card for a local restaurant. It might have been the food, w**e, or the Ukulele Club performance or music bingo. So many choices.
Contest begins now and entries may be made through Thursday October 8th at 8:00 PM CST. Winner will be drawn at random from those who answer with your favorite festival feature. One entry per person. There will be only one winner drawn. Winner will be notified via Facebook messenger and will be announced on our page.

The Muncie Acorn Festival hosted the 4th Annual Car Show on Sunday September 27th. This year we gave away a special award in honor of a long time Muncie family who has made great contributions to this village. The award is the Seimer Family Memorial Award and it went to Bob Drollinger. Congratulations to Bob and thank you to the Seimer family for their continued support to the Village of Muncie. Thank you to Amos Woodrum for making this special trophy for this award.
