The Best Custom Award at the 2025 Midwest Regional Hot Rod Rally went to Avery Willer and his bold IH Loadstar 1600. From its commanding stance to the clean custom touches, this build stood out all weekend and proved that heavy iron can bring just as much style as horsepower.

The 2025 Club Participation Award went to the Dirty Sioux Jokerz car club from Sioux City, Iowa for bringing the highest number of entries to this year’s Midwest Regional Hot Rod Rally . We appreciate the continued support from all the car clubs and individual participants who make this event bigger and better every year.

Clean lines, classic stance, and unmistakable style 🏍️

The Best Motorcycle award at the 2025 Midwest Regional Hot Rod Rally went to Nathan Ray with his 2006 Harley-Davidson Hardtail Springer. From the springer front end to the hardtail setup, this bike drew attention all weekend and earned its spot at the top.

This year’s Best Engine and Doerr Prize, presented by Larry Doerr, were both awarded to Grant Schenk of the Old Iron Company Car Club. His 1937 Willys stood out for craftsmanship, performance, and attention to detail—two awards, one unforgettable build.

The Junkyard Bandits Car Club pick was awarded to Hunter Koehn of Moville, Iowa and his 1972 Ford F250. Chosen to highlight up-and-coming young car guys, this award celebrates hard work, passion, and the future of the hot rod and truck scene—and Hunter is just getting started.

Pulled out of burnout retirement and straight into the winner’s circle 💨

The Burnout Contest, proudly sponsored by Anderson Heating & Cooling of Sioux City, crowned Chris Healy of Moville, Iowa as this year’s champion with his wild 1966 Ford F100. No stranger to tire smoke or the Midwest Regional Hot Rod Rally, Chris added yet another burnout win to his legacy—taking home the trophy and purse money earmarked for fresh rubber.
