Everything starting melting, including people lol! So we packed up a little early. Thank you to everyone who braved the heat!

Tomorrow is the big day! Concessions will be open for hot dogs, chips and drinks (Thank you Student Council). Most of the vendors have sweet treats. Admission is a $1 or unopened baby essentials for the Diaper Drive. Admission is waived if you are entering an event, unless you'd like to donate. This is a students activites fundraiser. All proceeds go back into the activity budgets for clubs, sports, and extracurricular projects.

Here is a timeline of events:

8:00 - Registration Tent Opens (Car Show, 5K, Vendors), Vendors Start to Arrive, Coffee station open in concessions, Car start to arrive for Car Show

8:30 - Devil Dash 5K Starts, Concession Opens

9 - Gates Open, Volleyball Registration Opens

10 - Car Show Judging Starts, 100 Yrd Devil Dash, Volleyball starts

12 - Spectator Choice voting in Car Show Ends

1 - Car Show Winners Announced

2 - Close up/Clean up

Science Club is excited to host the crowd favorite car show this year at Festival of the Pines. The trophies are ready and as always they were designed by students, welded by students and the medallions were etched by students. Thank you to the Community Service class, the Agri class and the EAST at Mountain Pine High School class for your help every year in this event.

The Festival of the Pines kicks off this Saturday with the Devil Dash 5K at 8/8:30! Once all the runners are back we'll have the 100yrd Devil Dash for the littles (no earlier than 10am). This event will raise funds for our girls basketball team.

Come join us in Mountain Pine on September 19th for the 3rd Annual Red Devil Dash! This year we have a new option for littles, a 100yd dash. They are of course welcome to join the full 5K as well. Due to the burn ban and an abundance of caution we are cancelling the chicken Cook Off for this year.

JUST the cook off is cancelled, the rest of the Festival is still a go! See you next Saturday! Stay hydrated! The concession stand will be open and so will the water fountain inside.

This year, we’re proud to support local families through a Diaper & Baby Supply Drive at Festival of the Pines!

🎟️ Bring any unopened baby supplies and your gate admission will be waived!

We’re accepting unopened baby supplies of all kinds, including:
🍼 Diapers
🧻 Wipes
🥛 Formula
🧴 Baby hygiene items
👶 Other essential baby supplies

🚫 Please note: No clothing, please.

Instead of paying your gate admission, bring a donation and help provide much-needed supplies to local families in our community. Every donation, big or small, can make a difference! 💕👶

The community service class is hosting a Diaper Drive. In leiu of paying for admission to the Festival on September 19th, bring unopened packages of diapers, wipes, or other baby essentials (bottles, sippy cups, or binkies). No clothes please. All donations will be redistributed through local food pantries.
