THE TRAIN TRACK RIVALRY 📖🔥

Whitehaven vs. Fairley.
HAVEN pride. City bragging rights. Nothing but history, tradition, and competition when these two step on the field.

I’m still Uncle Vincent, remember that! 😂🐅

Much respect — but when it’s game time, you already know what it is.

RESPECT THE HAVEN.🖤💛

Doc is getting excited, and the horns of the Whitehaven High School “Sounds Of Perfection” Band are warming up for a spirited evening on THIS Friday night.

See you at the Stan Collins stadium, at 7:00 pm for one of the city’s oldest most historic rivalries! 🖤💛

🐯 vs. 🐶

09/02/2026

This weekend, Whitehaven High School and Fairley High School meet on the football field - but this matchup is about more than just a game! It’s about community, pride, tradition, leadership and the young people and alumni who represent BOTH schools!

And what makes this weekend especially meaningful is both schools are being led by a .Hunter!

Whitehaven - Dr. Vincent Hunter
Fairley - Dr. Steevon Hunter

We are grateful for CEO Weekly magazine for highlighting Whitehaven’s own Dr. Vincent Hunter, whose leadership and commitment to students continues to make an impact.

With a Hunter representing both schools, this game represents more than competition, it’s a celebration of leadership, excellence, and the power of education to bring communities TOGETHER!

Whitehaven 🐯 vs. Fairley 🐶! May the best team win, but may both schools, both communities and most importantly the students and alumni leave knowing they represented something bigger than themselves!

Let’s pack the stands and support our student athletes this Friday night and celebrate the leaders that make moments like this possible! 🖤💛

If you have a career, a story, some wisdom, or a few “I wish somebody had told me this when I was your age” lessons to share, we want YOU! 😂

This is your opportunity to mentor, encourage, answer questions, share your career journey, and help a young person see possibilities beyond what they may see today.

Because sometimes all a young person needs is to meet somebody who looks like them and hear:

👉🏾 “Yes, you can do this. And let me show you how.”

So, Whitehaven, let’s do what we do best—SHOW UP FOR OUR OWN! ❤️🖤
