Louisiana State Games The LOUISIANA STATE GAMES is hosted each year in Monroe-West Monroe. Medal winners move on to compete in the State Games of America.

The Louisiana State Games is a sports festival created for Louisiana’s amateur athletes. Similar to the International Olympics, the festival will consist of more than 20 sports providing Louisiana’s amateur athletes, of all ages and skill levels, a meaningful opportunity to participate in a true amateur sport competition. WHO CAN COMPETE – All residents of Louisiana who have lived in the state for

at least 30 days prior to the date of competition for their sport are eligible if they meet the requirements specified by that sport. Louisiana residents attending school or serving in the military in other states are also eligible. Residents of Arkansas are invited to participate as well.
