It’s raining and we are watching the forecasts. We will determine any weather-related delays or cancellations by 6 pm. Keep your eyes here.

UPDATE: We will determine any weather-related delays or cancellations by 6 pm on July 4.

Minneapolis Red, White, and BOOM is tomorrow along West River Parkway near the Stone Arch Bridge!

We're going to monitor weather all day to determine if there will be any partial or full cancellations due to severe weather. Park events are typically not cancelled due to light rain, only severe weather. Any changes to the entertainment and/or fireworks will be posted on our social media channels.

There is no rain date if fireworks are cancelled. Let's hope the storms hold off!

Here's the current schedule for tomorrow, as long as weather cooperates:

6 pm: Food trucks and live music from DJ Angel Beloved
8:30 pm: Live music from Big Mike Retro Soul and the Westside Horns
10 pm: Grand finale fireworks over the Mississippi River

A few tips:

🚫 The Stone Arch Bridge is undergoing repairs and will be completely closed during the event. The nearest river crossing will be the new 3rd Avenue Bridge.
🚌 Parking is limited in the area, so consider taking transit, biking, or carpooling. Parking options are listed on the Red, White and Boom website: https://www.minneapolisparks.org/activities-events/events/red_white_and_boom/
🕕 Arrive early to secure a good spot for the fireworks.
🪑 Bring blankets or lawn chairs and potentially an umbrella for comfortable seating.
💧 Stay hydrated and consider bringing sunscreen and hats for daytime festivities.
🚮 Respect the beautiful riverfront environment, don't litter.
