Kandi Kritterz was created by two bestie beadcrafters, Leif & Lloyd. They take pride in creating affordable, trendy handmade kandi accessories. From bracelets and keychains to fidgets and deck boxes, they have options for folks with varied interests and budgets! We are putting together a fantastic Mini-Con for you with vendors, authors, artists, food trucks, activities, and more! However events that build a community also take a community. Yesterday we had a lot of fun visiting the Ann Arbor Comic Arts Fest hosted by Ann Arbor District Library! It was such a joy to listen to Kazu Kibuishi speak about his path to becoming an author, his process for creating the stories, and get a sneak peak at what's coming up next for him. All of the authors & artists in the vendor hall were incredibly talented! Hopefully we'll have the opportunity to see them again!

You can find Award-winning horror & dark fiction author, B.D. Prince in our Artist Alley. Prince got his start writing humorous greeting cards and penning one-liners for Joan Rivers. Now an award-winning author and screenwriter, Prince won the 2024 Imadjinn Award for Best Nonfiction Novel for "28 Years Haunted." His short fiction has been published in numerous anthologies as well as in his recent novella collection, "Eye for an Eye," (2024) and in his just released short story collection, "13 Ghastly Tales of Terror" (2025).

Milan Minicon is a pop-culture celebration for fans of all ages, featuring local artists, unique vendors, gaming events, cosplay, & fun for the whole family. Despite its name, there’s nothing small about this event—it’s packed with energy, creativity, and community spirit. We're taking over downtown Milan, MI, transforming the entire area into a celebration of pop culture and community.

Save the date - Saturday, July 18th from 10am-3pm! We will be indoors & outdoors in rain or shine. Follow us to get all the details!
