We’ve been so busy juggling puppies** that we haven’t done a good job of getting the word out to our potential crafters and vendors about this year’s Midlothian Village Day Festival. So we’re going to keep vendor applications open through this Sunday, March 22. Decisions will still be communicated by March 31. This year’s festival is Saturday, October 17, and we’re expecting 3,000 to 5,000 visitors. This will be the 44th Annual Midlo Day Festival and we are excited to see it grow! Applications are now open for the 2026 Midlothian Village Day Festival! If you’d like to be a crafter, vendor, or exhibitor for this year’s festival on Saturday, October 17, 2026, please check out the comments of this post for a link to the vendor/crafter application. We will be selecting 100 vendors/crafters to join us for this much-beloved, community event with attendance expected to be in the 3,000-4,000 range. Applications are open until 5 PM Monday, March 9, 2026, and spots are $100.

Thank you thank you thank you!! Midlothian Moms has absolutely loved supporting this great event over the last 6 years. This year was definitely one of our favorites. Lots of planning occurs to make today happen. Thank you vendors, sponsors, performers and of course - the over 150 volunteers. We couldn’t do it without you! Sanctuary Rescue has officially been tossed the torch, but don’t worry, you’ll still see many of us next year - just as volunteers. See you in 2026!

We've received a few messages about the arrival instructions for the day of the FESTIVAL We are working through the final map now. We had a couple of last minute cancellations and are working through the waitlist and payments for those spots. We promise to have full arrival instructions out by this weekend with the map of where each of you will be.

The PARADE arrival instructions have already been emailed out. If you did not receive that email, please let us know below so that we can forward to you.

Raffle tickets are $5 ea, or 5 for $20 and can be purchased the day of the event at the sales tent.

As a reminder, we do our best to block members and delete their comments that try to scam others into thinking they are responsible for managing applications and payments for festival, but somehow comments remain even after we try and delete.

The only way to apply to be a vendor or participate at festival is by sending an email to [email protected] or applying via our website midlothianmoms.com.

We will be transitioning this process to Sanctuary Rescue for 2026 and beyond - new links and emails will be pinned here once that transition has occurred.

No admin will ever comment as themselves on this festival page. The official will always comment as Midlothian Village Day Festival.

Do NOT respond to individuals claiming to be the right contact or that says there’s space available. We have been sold out for well over a month.

Big news to share!

Midlothian Moms is passing the festival torch to Sanctuary Rescue for 2026 and beyond. They have been helping us plan and will help execute 2025, but Midlothian Moms will fall back to support them for all future events.

We couldn’t be more thankful in their willingness to step up and take over the reigns so that the festival can continue to live on in this great community!

A Showcase Richmond feature on ABC 8News - WRIC, hosted by Melissa Chase will be airing soon! Keep an eye out and tune into Richmond’s newest show by our favorite on air talent!

September 24, Our programs manager, Gabby, met up with our friend, Biz, and did a segment with Melissa Chase for WRIC Channel 8 to tell the world about the upcoming 43rd Annual Midlothian Day Festival and that in 2026 the torch will be passed on to Sanctuary Rescue! We are deeply entrenched in the Midlothian community and think that organizing and hosting the Midlothian Day Parade and Festival will be a great fit. We are excited to take the reins next year and continue promoting our community in a fun, family friendly way while introducing everyone to the greatness and love of rescue dogs.

Volunteers are a huge part of Midlothian Village Day Festival!

Volunteers must be at least 13 years old for the Midlothian Village Day Festival October 18th! Duties range from helping vendors unload/ load their cars, help with games inside and outside, trash collection and more.

Shifts are 3 hours, and you’ll get a CFA sandwich or Papa Johns mini pizza at the end (GF options available). Volunteer hours can be signed off on too 👏🏻
