Funny how today is colder, snowier, and somehow has more ice than our event was this year… 😅

People still ask why we do it in February but midwest weather really just does whatever it wants. We just roll with it. 🤘

Hard to believe it’s already been almost a month since Shelf Ice Brewfest 2026. Looking back at these photos…what a day 🍻

Graffiti boards were this year’s Shelf Ice Brewfest 2026 art project and you all understood the assignment. 🎨🍺

Every square inch filled with names, bands, breweries, inside jokes, love notes, random masterpieces and “don’t drop your glass” reminders. This is what happens when you hand a bunch of creative, slightly buzzed adults markers and say… go for it. ✍️🤘

Shelf Ice Brewfest has always had some kind of interactive art element over the years, and watching you leave your mark has become part of the tradition. It’s not just a beer fest. It’s a time capsule.

Over 1,000+ people packed the Uptown Arts District for winter beer, live music, local breweries, craft pours, food trucks, and full festival energy in the heart of the UAD ❄️🍻

This wasn’t just a beer fest.
This was community.
This was Michigan City.
This was Shelf Ice Brewfest.

But pleaseeeee do not start Venmo-ing strangers on the internet for “extra tickets.”

We do not recommend buying tickets from someone you don’t personally know…
And honestly? Maybe not even someone you do personally know. We don’t know the type of company you keep. 😏

Here’s the deal:

📱 Once that QR code is scanned, it’s DONE

There are a lot of scams out there, especially once events sell out. We want you sipping craft beer, not arguing at the gate about who got played.
