Bring a lawn chair, blanket, and your favorite book or stop inside the bookstore and grab something new to read. Find your spot along 15th Ave. and give us one hour of reading together as a community.
FAQ
📍 Where are we reading?
Right on the sidewalk along 15th Ave or along the side of the bookstore. Find a comfortable spot, set up your lawn chair, umbrella or blanket, and get to reading.
🚗 Where do I park?
Street parking is available between 65th–66th Streets and 67th–68th Streets. Please do not park directly in front of the bookstore so we can keep that area open for the event.
⏰ How long are we reading?
We’re asking everybody to commit to one hour (10–11 AM). Come a little early, grab your spot, and get comfortable.
🥤 Can I bring something to drink?
Absolutely. Grab something refreshing from Matcha Edit bootleglemonade or a Roots Coco Water.
🎶 Will there be music?
Yep! We’ll be reading to the sounds of The Violinist 🎻 setting the vibe.
👨👩👧👦 Can I bring my jits?
Please do! This is for readers of all ages. Bring the whole family and let the little ones pick out a book too.
☀️ What about the Miami heat?
Dress comfortably, bring water, an umbrella and sunscreen is always a good idea.
