After 11 years, it’s time for a new chapter.
Vile Productions is officially becoming Vile Bookings.
When I started Vile Productions back in 2015, I was in my early twenties and honestly had no idea how deep I would end up getting into all of this. What started back then grew into 11 years of booking shows, working with bands and venues, promoting underground music, meeting people from all over, and somehow continuing to do this every single time I swear I’m going to retire. 😂
Vile Bookings is about more than putting a flyer online and calling it promotion. We believe in actually promoting our shows, online and on the streets, getting flyers into people’s hands, pushing our artists, supporting the venues that give underground music a home, and working alongside the musicians and people who keep this community alive.
Over the years, Vile Productions offered more than just booking. We were involved with recording, tracking, mastering, graphic work, and other services. As Vile has evolved, so has what we actually do.
We are no longer offering recording, tracking, or mastering services, so Vile Bookings simply represents who we are today and where we’re headed.
We will still offer graphic design services for bands and promoters who need flyers, EPK assistance, and other promotional materials. Most importantly, we’re continuing what has always been at the heart of Vile: booking, promoting, and supporting heavy music.
Along with the new name, we finally have a new logo.Changing the Vile logo is something I’ve wanted to do for YEARS, but I could never quite figure out what I wanted the artwork to represent or how to visually define what Vile has become. With the help of Mr. Jon Zig, that idea finally came to life, and I’m incredibly excited to introduce his artwork as the new face of Vile Bookings.
We have a lot coming up, including upcoming events and several 2027 shows that we’ll be announcing soon.
So please give Vile Bookings a follow, share our new logo, tell your friends, come out to the shows, support the bands, support the venues, and help us keep building this thing.
I also want to give a special thank you to Chris Defaut for being my rock, my partner, and an essential part of the Vile team. From working alongside me behind the scenes to supporting every crazy idea and believing in what we’re building, his contribution to Vile means more to me than words can express.
