🎳 PLAYER SPOTLIGHT: Riley Woodard 🎳

Bowling has always been part of Riley Woodard’s life. His family has owned bowling centers throughout his life, giving him an early introduction to the sport.

Riley grew up watching the PBA on television every Sunday. From an early age, he knew where he wanted to compete and what he wanted to do.

This year, Riley reached one of his biggest goals by making his first PBA television show. He dominated the matches leading up to the show, winning 4-1 and 4-0 to earn his spot on the national stage.

Self confidence helped fuel his breakthrough.

“Trusting myself, trusting the work I’ve put in, and believing I belong made a big difference.”

Riley describes himself as a power player. He generates high rev rate and ball speed for a one-handed bowler, but his versatility gives him the ability to attack multiple parts of the lane.

Riley made his Agent Ong Open debut last year at The Trilogy. He left with a great experience and knew he wanted to return.

Now he heads to South Point Bowling Plaza, a venue where he has found success before.

His goal for Agent Ong Open IV - "All In" is simple:

“Number one is always to win.”

Away from the lanes, Riley enjoys fishing, camping, and playing video games. He thanks his family and everyone at Storm for supporting his journey.

Riley checked his first PBA television appearance off the list.

Now he is coming to Las Vegas to chase an Agent Ong Open title.

🎳 PLAYER SPOTLIGHT: Lanndyn Carnate 🎳

📍 Phoenix, Arizona
🏆 PBA Regional Champion
🔁 Two-Time Agent Ong Open Match-Play Finalist

Lanndyn Carnate was born and raised in Hawaii before moving to California and eventually settling in Phoenix.

He started bowling at only 2 years old. His father was a bowler and worked as a mechanic at their local bowling center in Hawaii, so Lanndyn grew up around the lanes.

At 15, he entered his first adult tournament and won against a field filled with top local players and PBA Regional talent. That victory showed him he belonged at a higher level.

Lanndyn became a PBA member to compete against the best. Those events taught him how to understand ball motion, see the lane differently, make faster adjustments, and trust his skills under pressure.

His proudest moment came when he won his first PBA Regional title with his mom there to witness it.

His biggest accomplishment came at the 2025 World Series of Bowling, where he finished 16th in the PBA World Championship.

That finish proved he had the ability to compete with the best bowlers in the world.

Lanndyn describes his game as simple and patient. Nothing flashy. His strength comes from staying in the moment, keeping control of his mental game, and remaining open to adjustments.

He made his Agent Ong Open debut in 2024 and returned for The Trilogy in 2025. He advanced to match play both years but fell short of reaching the stepladder finals.

His goal for Agent Ong Open IV - "All In"?

“WIN. Plain and simple.”

Lanndyn believes the Agent Ong Open stands apart because it brings professionals, Regional players, and local league bowlers together on the same demanding pattern. The multiple squads, re-entries, sweepers, and side action give every player several ways to compete.

He also appreciates the work Carl Ong, Theo Douthit and the tournament team put into creating an event built around their love for bowling and their commitment to helping it grow.

Now Lanndyn gets to chase the title inside the South Point Bowling Plaza, a venue he respects for its stadium atmosphere and history.

Away from the lanes, Lanndyn plays guitar and ukulele. He has played since age 13 and says having an instrument in his hands brings him peace of mind.

He thanks his parents for every sacrifice they made and for supporting him through every high and low. He also thanks his sponsors, bowling center owners, friends, and everyone he has met throughout his journey.

Two years. Two match-play appearances.

This year, Lanndyn Carnate is coming for the stepladder and the title.
