Under His Providence: A Prayer Guide for America’s 250th launched this week with Week 1: Humility and Repentance.
As we approach our nation’s 250th anniversary, the Lord has laid it on my heart to call us back to Scripture and prayer. This first week we are focusing on what Scripture shows us is always the starting place for renewal: humble repentance before a holy God.
We will walk slowly through passages like Psalm 106, Isaiah 1, Daniel 9, and Psalm 51 — remembering God’s goodness, confessing our sin, and asking Him to create clean hearts within us.
My prayer is that this week would not be about pointing fingers at others, but about allowing God’s Word to search our own hearts. Revival begins with God’s people returning to Him.
If you’d like to join me, the full Week 1 is now available. Each day includes Scripture, a short reflection, prayer prompts, a hymn, and encouragement from faithful believers in our nation’s history.
I would love to hear what the Lord is showing you as we seek His face together.

Let’s begin with humble, grateful hearts.
“Praise the LORD! Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!” (Psalm 106:1)
